Основатель The Bboy Spot и соучредитель мероприятия Outbreak.

Bio:

Mex started breaking in mid-1999 with a group of friends from his high school. One of them was Felix (Unique Styles Crew/Fusik) who’s now his best friend. In 2001, Felix and Mex, along with Dwelz (Fresh Intelex), created Solo 3 Crew. Soon after they met Namek and Squid, teamed up with Unique Styles Crew and called themselves Solo3USC.In February 2002, they decided to drop the Solo3, and Unique Styles Crew was born. From 2002 to 2006 they hit the battle scene hard, becoming one of the most successful crews in Florida at that time.

In 2003, Mex started a career in promotions by necessity. There weren’t enough jams going on at the time, and finally on October 11, 2003, the Outbreak Hiphop Jam was born. Soon after Outbreak came Civil Warz, followed by countless of other events. By 2006, Outbreak Hip Hop festival has become a world-renown event with international B-Boys and B-Girls in attendance. Outbreak went global with the birth of Outbreak Europe in 2009. Mex officially retired from event promotions at the last Outbreak Hip Hop festival on October 11, 2013. With more 100 events under his belt and 10 years of hard work and dedication as a promoter, he felt it was time to hang up his boots.

In 2007, along with Spen One, Mex started a clothing brand called Biggest&Baddest. Eight years later, B&B can now be seen at every breaking event worldwide. Soon after B&B, Mex decided to open up TheBboySpot.com. “The Spot,” as it’s often called, is a community webpage that carries the traditions of breaking and Hip Hop Culture. In 2009 Mex opened The Bboy Spot Community Center, a free practice facility for all B-Boys and B-Girl that served as home to several events, including the last two Outbreak Festivals, and workshops by top-tier, global breakers. Mex decided to close the Center’s doors in July of 2015, less than two years after he retired from event promotions.

Mex has served as a consultant to Red Bull BC One for six years, assisting with the event promotions and talent management. In the last three years, he has helped organized the Red Bull BC One Orlando Cyphers and the Red Bull BC One North America Final 2915. Starting in 2015, he also provides the livestream commentaries in Spanish.

“All in all, I am a community activist. Always supporting events and growth of the breaking community,” says Mex. “I look forward to welcome new challenges and ventures. As I always say, ‘Community First!. Strictly breaking and ALWAYS HIPHOP.’”
